Casa de Baixo ( meaning "downstairs house" ) is a house with history located on the Flores Island, in Azores, that gains a new life as rural tourism accommodation. Built in the first half of the XIX century, Casa de Baixo gains a new life and materializes the dream of the only great-granddaughter of its first owner.
The project was born from a need for remodeling and adaptation using Branding as a striking medium.
Being a house with a strong past and a result of a strong family union, this could not be forgotten when translating its essence.

The logo emerges from the reflection of a wooden plaque carved by a family member. Thus, the Identity intrinsically reflects the connection to the family.
The focal point of the project was to distinguish Flores Island (meaning flowers island) from other islands in the Azores Archipelago, thus giving life to illustrations of typical flowers of the island with sinuous strokes being in tune with the remaining identity of a cozy and family house.
